Dr. Poindexter is literally the BEST dentist I have ever been seen by. She makes each visit enjoyable and gratifying. She is clear cut and precise about the medical information and advice she gives, and you leave there feeling empowered, that your dental health is in solid hands. Her staff are well trained, patient, pleasant and supportive. I wholeheartedly recommend her both as a medical practitioner and just wonderful human being as well. Good job Ryerson Smiles!

I was prompted by their service, weave, to leave a review but had been waiting until my issue from December 20 was resolved. It is still not resolved but I decided to make others aware of the billing issues at Ryerson Smiles. I am owed $289.20 after being overcharged to replace 3 silver fillings with white fillings in December 2023. My insurance company made payment and then after weeks of the check not being cashed, they reissued the payment. The second check has still not been cashed as of this week, April 8. Prior to my appointment, I was told by staff at Ryerson Smiles that my insurance company was contacted, and that all services would be 100% reimbursed by Delta Dental. After being told this, I was asked to pay $500 for a cleaning and subsequently $500 for two fillings, each time being reassured that my insurance company would reimburse me for the full amount. I had a large chip taken out of my tooth and had to make an emergency visit to Ryerson Smiles. I was new to Brooklyn and didn't have a dentist yet. Dr Poindexter took me in and was able to fix my chipped tooth that same day. She did an incredible job. It's been 16 months and the fix has held like nothing happened to the tooth. The color match was perfect and I forget that there was ever anything wrong with the tooth. I highly recommend Ryerson Smiles

I went as a new patient today to have broken bonding on my front tooth repaired. I was a little annoying with what I wanted but Dr. Poindexter and her assistant were so incredibly patient with me and really put me at ease. Dr. Poindexter radiates positivity and so does the rest of her staff. I was extremely satisfied with my result, it was perfect! The office was also very clean.
