Negative star review. We’re newish to the community and looking for a vet. I had an emergency with one of my conformation dogs. When I called, I was told “we don’t take emergencies and our appointments are booked for today. “ I will never recommend this office to anyone for any reason. Emergencies are just that an emergency. This is ridiculous!

We apologize for not being clear before you had to get off the phone. We do see emergencies; however, our doctor doesn’t get in until 8am and we had 5 patients scheduled at 8am. We were attempting to explain that our Owasso location has a doctor on staff at 7am and we felt that your pet may receive quicker care at that location.
We dropped both of our doggies off for a groom and one of them need their yearly senior exam. Due to COVID we couldn’t come in during our doggies vet check which I do understand. You would think the vet or vet tech would call and ask if you have any concerns, which is what they do at the Owasso location. Or when the visit is over they would call and let you know how the visit went just like they do in Owasso. But no not the Skiatook location. Totally unprofessional First time client. 1st of 4 dogs that needed checkups. Made my appt, showed up a little early. Filled out my new client form and they took it. Waited in my car until 30 minutes past scheduled appt time. No one came out to let me know they were running behind, had an emergency, or if I possibly needed to re-schedule. Nothing. We should have checked back in with you after receiving your new client paperwork and let you know the situation. Our Client Care Coordinator was dealing with a lot of phone calls and the Nurse was with the appointment ahead of you.
