My friend and I were there for dinner prior to a presentation at the Epcor Centre and we had excellent service from Colin. He was attentive, made fabulous recommendations on both food and wine and made sure our timing was monitored to ensure we made it to the performance on time. The restaurant was busy and energetic for a chilly evening. Always a great place and enjoyable experience.
I enjoy going to the Saltlik for business lunches. The service is friendly and efficient and the food has always been very good.
Our group had calamari, steak, salmon, tuna and salad. All great.
Waitress was very nice, attentive without interfering. In fact all the staff seemed cheerful and helpful. Steaks were done to perfection. We took our own wine and found the corkage charge very reasonable.
Our meal took a little longer than expected but without even asking the manager came to our table and appoligizes and gave us our lunch for free. The food was excellent. That is excellent customer service!
Amazingly cooked steak - def go for the Chicago style. Will most definitely come here again!
Great spot for a good steak, at not a huge price. Very attentive wait staff. Would definitely recommend this restaurant
There are many places to dine in Calgary, and it is sometimes hard to upset routine and try a different place for a change. I have to admit that it took me a couple of years to actually make a reservation here but I am very pleased that I did! It was a friends birthday, and he loves steak so we decided to give the place a try. Great food. Pricey wine list...estimated mark up on or wine 250%. Service was excellent, but on a couple of occasions they attempted to remove plates when we were still eating. Lobster mashed potatoes to die for...literally as they were so rich I could feel my arteries hardening with each swallow.
