Asked on the reservations for a quiet table for 2 but or table was in the middle of the resturaunt. Wine was very pricey Service was very good.

The noise level was relatively high. I would sit in a different location next time where it might be quieter.

My bone in ribeye was very tough and chewy. My wife sent her New York Striploin back and got the filet instead because she couldn’t cut it, it was so tough. I should have sent mine back.

When I made the reservation, I was asked if it was for a special occasion and I said it was for our anniversary. When we arrived, there was no mention of it. I have to wonder why we were even asked? The restaurant was nearly empty and we were sat at a tiny table. The waitress was attentive but didn't pay attention. I ordered the chicken and it was so tough and dry. The steak was mediocre. The quality of food and service was not very good. Many issues that came up may not have the service’s fault, however the response to all of the issues stemming from missing menu items and under and over cooked items was the problem. From this experience we would not go back. Especially as this was our first time trying saltlik.
We expected more ... I took my wife to Saltlik Calgary for her birthday, expecting a special meal. The service was good, but the meal was just so-so. The appetizers we ordered were nothing special. and the steak we both had gnarly parts, with my wife having to cut out bits that were too tough to chew. The steaks were actually grilled properly, but the quality of the meat was not up to the standard I would expect for an upper-end restaurant.
