Middle aged couple coming in right before they close and everyone was super patient, helpful and knowledgeable. What a great surprise to not feel like a bother and for customers to feel welcome. Wow! They sold us amps, helped set up financing helped sell us a bunch of other things when I’m sure they all wanted to go home since it was past closing. Great staff! Great prices! We are very happy and we will be back soon!
This was the first time I had come into Sam Ash Music Store. I was looking for a replacement piece for my son's instrument. When I walked through the door, everyone....I mean, EVERYONE!! was so warm and welcoming! I felt cared about instantly! I asked for the piece I was looking for, and was taken right to what I was looking for! No just pointing in the direction! I was walked over to, and the employee grabbed it and handed it to me! Contrary to these other reviews, I had an absolutely horrible experience at this location. I brought my brand new $1,800 Fender in, to have the pick guard replaced and left with a damaged guitar. For some reason, the tech(Doug) decided to take my guitar apart and do a setup, which is not what I asked for. He ended up leaving scratches on my new guitar and now it plays terrible, compared to when I first got it. To make matters worse, the tech had me forgo the warranty process through Fender because he complained about it ... read more
Bought a guitar in December and wanted to exchange it for one with Nylon strings. Process to return was smooth. The guitar I needed was not in stock manager brought it in from another store next day. He was super helpful addressed me by name on my visit and personally let me know to reach out with questions. Appreciate the service team Buffalo Grove.
I had purchased an amp from the floor which was thought to be 100% functional. When I got it home, there were a few issues with it. I took it back to exchange it, and the team was glad to assist not just in the transaction but also with selecting new gear. They were thoughtful, generous, and down-to-earth. I really enjoyed spending time with them.
