I went to Dr. Arzola's office 3 times before I decided to move practices, accruing red flag after red flag and dismissing it early on because it was my first pregnancy. The front desk ladies are not attentive. The sonographer completely ruined my first two ultrasounds; I at first gave her a pass for perhaps having a bad day but realized soon it was just her personality and hating her job. You have to ask to see Dr. Arzola during your appts or you won't see her until your third trimester. When I met her, she did not instill c... read more

I would very much like to meet Dr. Arzola whom I was originally scheduled with , but was seen instead by an NP . Dont mean any offense to the NP who saw me. She was really nice, but I would prefer someone with much more years of experience and expertise . The biopsy procedure (besides d pap) I recently had was unforgettable, painwise! :(

She was not very willing to listen to patient's needs and request. Dismissed the use of the squat bar, was very rude to other staff, had a student doctor delivering who pulled the placenta, causing pieces of membrane to be retained. No request to allow doctor to help with delivery and sewing up tear. Would have preferred asking permission. No experience with her prior to delivery, OB should show up. That is why that one was chosen. Not being "on call" is not good enough

Dr Arzola was not my OB/Gyn; one of her partners at Alamo Womens' Health was. When I went into labor around 3:00 in the afternoon I was told that Dr Arzola would be delivering my baby. I discussed many things with my Doctor, including my fear of having an episiotomy. My Doctor actually laughed and said no one does those anymore she also explained that they were rarely needed. My birth was going well until my epidural(s) failed. This Doctor cut me with scissors W/O ANESTHESIA- stitches too!!!!
