Has the perfect ambiance for Cold Spring Harbor's small quaint downtown. Thoughtful food and drink in a smart casual setting. Good for groups or a date. My pumpkin salad was different and delicious.
Lovely restaurant great atmosphere. Delicious food we loved everything. Service was perfect and don’t forget to try the grapefruit cocktail. I forget the name but they are famous there for a really good reason! Will go back for sure!!

Been meaning to try out Sandbar for a while now, and my wife and I made it over there this past Friday night for dinner. We made a reservation earlier in the day which was probably a good idea considering how busy they were. There’s a bar area and a restaurant area. The décor in both is really nice – nautical North Shore in keeping with the town it’s in. We’ve been here many times. The meal is always outstanding. The bar is a great place to grab a drink before dinner. It has a great vibe, no matter what day of the week. Friday and Saturday the noise level is a little high,but the food will keep you coming back. Cold Spring Harbor is such a great Northshore town and it’s luck to have such a restaurant gem!
The is the 2nd time we've been at Sandbar for special occasions. We like their appetizers a lot. Dinner entree not so much. Service was great! Restaurant is nice, elegant, and comfortable. A tiny bit on the pricey side. We will certainly go again for special occasions. We got there really early at 5:15pm so the restaurant is quite empty. Strangely, even we are the 2nd table in the entire dinner room, they seat us right next to the other table. Very nice hostess and server (Kelly). We hit major traffic due to the Fall Festival and the hostess was very accommodating. Our server was professional, friendly and attentive. We liked the food, too, and will be back.
