A very good Dr. who did a perfect job on my lumbar spinal stenosis surgery...highly recommended!
Dr Bhangoo has compassion for his patients. He isn’t going to do surgery unless it is justified. My experience with Dr Bhangoo has always been honesty, common sense and I feel very safe under his care.
This was my first time meeting with Dr. Bhangoo about my spine, joint and back pain. He appeared to have researched my prior notes, X-rays and MRI's and was prepared to actually show me the scans of my condition and discuss the options for treatment. He was very methodical and clear about my options and possible outcomes, which helped me decide what was best for me at this time, but also leaving the door open to call him if things didn't progress like I hoped. I've had 2 surgeries by Dr. Bhangoo. Both turned out great. He won't operate if it will make things worse. Very honest and answers questions so you can understand them.
He realy does care and does his best to help you.Not knife happy. Very trust worthy and honest.Spends as much time as you need!
Dr. Bhangoo was very thorough and took the time to really help me understand the procedure I needed as well as what he would do. I need a Transforaminal Lumbar Fushion of my L4 and L5 which had been causing me a great deal of pain for many years. Before I had the surgery I had such horrible pain that I couldn't stand or walk for long periods of time. Dr. Bhangoo performed the surgery and I was able to feel the results immediately! He has given me my life back and I cannot thank him enough!
Did not even examine my husband. Treatment was poor. Husband got much worse after visiting with this doctor.
I did not feel heard or respected during this appointment. The doctor interrupted my husband and me several times, and I left the visit feeling dismissed. At one point he said he “couldn’t understand me,” which, as a Latina person, made me feel uncomfortable and singled out. In addition, he did not complete what I would consider a thorough assessment. He was rude and condescending towards me and my wife. Overall a poor excuse of a doctor. Even considering the level of care here in mason city. He isn't concerned with helping patients.
