I just moved out of Sandpiper and enjoyed living there for over 3 years. My Husband and I lived on the lake and could fish out our back door. We loved it and the staff was always very freindly and helpful.
sandpiper is a pretty nice place to live. The leasing agents are very friendly and professional. The activities they offer during the week are great for the kids. The on site officer isnt all that great, but hopefully they will get a better one soon. Everyone generally keeps to themselves, as far as Im concerned.
Very friendly, courteous, professional staff. Genuinely interested in feedback and constructive comments. Repairs are done promptly, sometimes with a gentle reminder needed. Landscaping is attractive, but the tenants tend to frequently litter (cigarette butts, fast food bags and wrappers) so groundskeeping needs to be stepped up a lot to keep the place looking nice.
In the past couple of months, at least 4 apartments were broken into in Sandpiper. Are they REALLY checking the applications of the people who come in there? The rent cheap but not worth it if you're up worrying in the middle of the night if someone's going to break in.
I have serval friends that live in these apartments. I know for there is a very serious problem with drugs. The gates are constantly broke and neighbors don't respect the other with loud music in the home and vehicle. These apartments are very old with no central heating system.
I love it here.
