A native of Alexandria, Dr. Sandy Franz graduated from LSU with a degree in Microbiology before heading north to attend LSU Medical School in Shreveport. After earning her Medical Degree in 1997, she pursued her love of caring for children and completed a Pediatric Residency with Brown University at Hasbro Children’s Hospital in Providence, Rhode Island. Dr. Franz and her nurse are a dream team! Not only do our children get excited to see them when they need a well-check or sick care, but we as parents always feel heard and taken care of when having concerns. They’re the best!
Doctor Franz is very knowledgeable, has amazing bedside manners and tries everything to make the visit as comfortable for her patients as possible. Highly recommend her! Her nurse is also great!
If you are looking for a pediatrician, Dr. Franz is the best. I have 3 children, one of them with autism. Dr. Franz always takes the time to listen to me, she is always kind and patient with each of my children. It's honestly a blessing to have found her
