Dr. Karen, my name too by the way,......is just terrific. She got down on the floor and treated my dog, Mick Jagger the entire time. So he was happy not having to be up on a table. In addition to a comfortable exam, I was given plenty of opportunity to discuss any issues that I might of had. Didn't feel rushed at all, in fact quite the opposite. This morning I had to say goodbye to Whispershade, my sweet kitty companion of almost 10 years. Over the past couple of weeks during Whisper's decline, Dr. Karen and the staff treated us with compassion, care, and respect. I cannot express how much this care, compassion, and respect means to me during this time.
I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Karen and the wonderful, caring, professional staff at Sanford Oaks, as well as Dr. Kirby Warren, retired founder. None better!
Dr. Karen is amazing and I trust her and the Sanford Oaks Animal Clinic with my pet! I highly recommend them!
Been coming to see Dr. Warren pretty much since the clinic opened. Always enjoyed visiting with Dr. Warren when bringing in my babies, which started out being cats and evolved into being nothing but dogs. Always a caring staff who helps with everything we need. Good place to leave my dog for care or boarding.Wish Dr. Warren a great retirement be it here in DFW or Hamilton.
Dr. Warren is THE BEST!!! We became clients in 1975 and have remained such through all the poodles, cocker spaniels, a Yorkie, Fritz the Cairn, and now with Pepper the Toy Fox and Lacie the teacup Bichon. We were very sad to learn he actually retired, but it was GREAT when Lacie and I were there last week and I heard his voice in the lab area! We so appreciated Dr. Warren and wish him a very happy and blessed retirement! He took amazing care of so many fur babies over the years. We thank him so much for everything. We are sad to see him leave, but know his practice will be in great capable hands with Dr. Smirmaul. We had to send our beloved 13-year old greyhound over the Rainbow Bridge today at Sanford Oaks. When we came in to the clinic, the staff had lit a candle in honor of Lightning and had a sign that asked other clients to be respectful of our last moments ... read more
