Absolutely amazing experience on my first visit for my birthday with family. My son recommended the restaurant & it did not disappoint. Our server was efficient, polite & attentive. The food was first class as was the ambiance & the decor. I will look forward to a return visit in July. I would highly recommend.

Great location near the Abbey and delicious Italian food. The homemade pastas are good.

I returned to San Remo after a good previous experience. The ambience and service were good as ever but, unfortunately we both made a bad choice of the main course: the pizza was very dry and bland and we each left half. The Tiramisu was excellent. The offer of a glass of wine with the main course for £5 was very good value but the wine list was very expensive.

Sanremo is a special experience that combines exquisite food with outstanding service. The atmosphere can only be described as rich, with it's beautiful mural ceiling, fresh oyster display and the bar. Our server, Emiliana, was so attentive and friendly, and our food arrived promptly once ordered. If you have an anniversary or other reason to celebrate, I really would recommend Sanremo.

As ever a good experience. We could have done with the background music being quieter (why restaurants think it ‘enhances the experience’ I don’t know. It detracts from it, unless it is live and particularly good.) Apart from that the ambience and food was good, the prices reasonable and the service prompt and attentive. We’ll be back.
