Want the best sea food around this is the place. Been here two or three times and have never gotten a bad meal. See stars in there twice while eating. Staff are the tops helpful and friendly. Love this place
You gotta love this restaurant. Just expect that this place is very crowded yet its small and you will wait longer than usual. Order the sea bass was most delicious, fresh and would make you crave for it everytime you think of it. Not a large menu, but the fresh fish is excellent.
What great food! The waitress and the atmosphere were outstanding. The parking, was easy and the prices were just as easy. Walked away with spices after dinner too from the little store.
I've been going to Santa Monica Seafood since they were on Colorado and 12th St. They have me spoiled to the point where I would never buy seafood from a commercial grocery store. The freshness of their food is authentic. You get high quality seafood for a reasonable price. I haven't eaten at the restaurant since they moved to Wilshire, but I'm definitely looking forward to it.
I love this place for two reasons. I frequently come here to dine and also to buy seafood to cook. I like the simplicity of the decor but the complexity of the flavors in the food. If I want Seafood this is the only place to go. I love buying the fresh lochs, fresh sourdough rolls and homemade Basil Aoili, and flowers. I could eat that everyday. If you are making dinner or a party go to Santa Monica Seafood you will not be disappointed!
