I think because it was local to the area we were buying in so less hassles/delays than our big nationwide credit union. The connection between other locals like our realtor and the escrow firm helped because Sarah's firm was familiar with those people. The day we decided to make an offer they were able to prequal us in just a few hours even though my partner buyer was physically in Afghanistan. Everyone we had contact with was pleasant , efficient and professional!
