This is the fourth of fifth time I have been a patient at Schweiger Dermatology Group. I have gone there for my yearly skin check up and a minor facial augmentation. Each time I have been there it has been a positive experience. This last visit I went for a yearly skin check up. While I was there I asked for some help with an injury I sustained a week prior. Extremely frustrating experiences dealing with contacting the office to schedule appointments due to a call center and difficulty contacting the office directly. Wait time is almost always 20 to 30 minutes after the scheduled appointment time. Dr. Abbatte is amazing and a wonderful caring doctor but the front desk staff are not friendly, welcoming, and are quite dismissive and rude. Many frustrating and difficult experiences with this location.
Called the practice and they got me in the same day. Doctors and Mesdical assistant were nice and made me feel comfortable. Sent my Rx right away to the pharmacy and gave me samples to use to see how I like the product before coming out of pocket to purchase it. I didn’t wait long in the waiting room either which I did appreciate
Do not make appointments with this company they have a cancellation fee for cosmetology for $125 and if you don’t happen to call 48 hours in advance then you are screwed. To me that is higher than the averages cancellation of any dr that I’ve been too and they don’t tell you that until the letter comes in the mail. They don’t allow you to make a payment plan they tell you if you don’t qualify to make a plan but then tell you how much they want you to pay and then threaten you with collections. Staff and doctor took their time to explain everything to me. They followed up with a phone call to check on me. I was well taken care of.
