Dr. Chansky is good, but the logistics aren't. It's 2024: every single doctor in America should let you message (these are billable now) and schedule appointments online. Get with the program.

Cannot reach the billing office at all regarding an incorrect bill. I've had insurance for the entire time I've been working with this office, however they are billing me full price due to a "lapse in coverage." I've made sure to have all proper referrals and other approvals in place before being seen at the office.

I would recommend against going here for dermatology needs. I've been to other dermatologists before and found my experience here to be uniquely negative. It seems like this provider is engaging in assembly line medicine. I never saw an MD -- only a PA. And there was a fairly high volume of patients streaming in and out of the office (this was before vaccines were widely available and in sharp contrast to the much tighter COVID procedures at other medical providers I went to at the time). Easy to schedule an appointment, and very nice staff. However, please note that if you make an appointment here, you will NOT be seeing a board certified dermatologist. You will be seeing a PA. Over the course of three years, I was misdiagnosed x2, correctly diagnosed but improperly treated x1, and was told that "these things can be tricky to clear up." I've been going to Dermatology Center for a few years now and I Highly recommend Curtiss Opp, P.A. The staff are always welcoming and friendly and they even have candy bowls . Every time I see Curtiss Opp he always explains what procedure he will use to get the results I want and always makes me feel at ease and I always leave looking Refreshed and Natural I Highly recommend Dermatology Center at 45 Castro Street for a consultation and they safely deliver the results that you desire at an affordable price too . Bad policy. I talked to "Roxy" on the phone today. Because my new insurance hasn't started just yet, their policy of free consultations is not free for me! And I'm not exaggerating: once you go in, you will be told how much you'll be charged. You will not be told beforehand how much will be charged. You have to go down and pay, just to find out how much you would pay. But of course if you have insurance then they're happy to see you, free.
