We have been going to Universal’s Halloween Horror Nights, for 14 years. We decided to give Scream-A-Geddan a try this year. We were not expecting much, but ended up being highly impressed. The houses and characters are great quality. The characters do not mind taking pictures with you. At HHN’s, the characters are rude sometimes about pictures. I am a Halloween junkie and this is about as good as it gets for haunted attractions! From the VERY talented actors, to the well planned methods of sending in only small groups at a time to increase the scare factor, this is how haunts should be done! My absolute favorite part was the interactive zones where you can opt to wear a glow necklace which means the actors can touch you. I was not sure what to expect since this was probably not going to be as extravagant as HHN or HowlOScream. I was so wrong. The houses were done so well. People are complaining about the price which I think is odd because my group did the VIP passes and they were less than just a general admission ticket at the bigger parks. The VIP was definitely worth it. We got there right before 7:30, tried to do most of the houses without using our VIP, then when the lines got longer we went back through again using our VIP. My husband and I went the first time this year and we loooooved it! It was very well put together and the atmosphere was awesome!!! We will definitely be back!!!! Thank you scream-A-Geddon for a wonderful time!!!!
Disappointed. Paid over $40 for tickets on Saturday. Got there at 11 p.m. Was happy to see the lines were shorter then last year. But they were missing staff big time. Only 2 actors in the midway. No one scared you while you were waiting. Also on the hayride which was my favorite last year, so many actors were not there. It was pretty much silent majority of the way.
