We did see Fuzzy previously in January for a medical concern but per the records the additional workup that was recommended was declined. RecommendedSnickers has had her wellness check-ups, been spayed, had nail trims, and been kenneled for over a week at a time, and still whines to get out of the car and into the building. I think it says a lot about the staff and the care when your dog is excited to go to the Vet office!
I have been a loyal customer to sea island animal clinic and have the puppy plan. I received a letter in the mail stating the plan would end in 4-25-2020 and the auto payments would continue unless I stop the payments. So I called and spoke to a receptionist named Savana and requested it to stop. She emailed me later that day stating I owe them $31 for medicine back in June 2019. In October my cat was treated for a cough; xrays were done, and the “guess” was she either has asthma or heart worms. I was told their X-ray machine was down, but when it was working, her records would be sent to a radiologist to read. It is December 19, and no one can tell me what is wrong with her. No one will tell me if her X-rays were ever sent. I left a message December 18 for the office manger to call me; I was told she was “at lunch”. UPDATE: The office manager called and everything was worked out. I was refunded my money and medication was picked up for the pups❤️ I’m very appreciative that they corrected the mistake. ORIGINAL: I’m so disappointed in Sea Island Animal Hospital. I purchased a wellness plan last December for both our dogs (over $700 a dog). I went in today for a wellness exam, check on some skin issues and complete the testing and vaccines that come with our plan before it expires.
