My 7 year old loved Dr.Katie and her nurse! We've had some bad experiences at a different dentist and I'm so glad we found sea of smiles

I've been taking my children to Sea of Smiles for several years and they are the absolute best all around. Dr John makes my children feel comfortable and is a wonderful dentist. He does great work and cares about your child's comfort. This past visit my daughter had a few fillings and Dr John called me himself that evening to make sure that my daughter was feeling alright. The staff is beyond amazing as well. The girls working with my daughter not only did excellent work but were very kind to my daughter. They went above and beyond to help me as well. It's not easy to take a toddler and a newborn to their sibling's appointments but sometimes you've got to do it. The staff helped me entertain my toddler the entire visit, they even gave her toys to keep her busy. I cannot thank them all enough.

Every person we came in contact with, from the point of scheduling to leaving our visit, was SO nice. My daughter was not happy the entire cleaning and the hygienist was so professional and calm!

Dr. Sarah took the time to talk to my nonverbal son in the calmest, kindest way. While my five year old came in crying and running away, the way she spoke to him and how she showed him the equipment put him at ease. By the end of our visit, he was sitting in the chair, holding the dental mirror and letting Dr. Sarah interact with him. We didn’t feel rushed or like a bother, which is honestly so refreshing. Sometimes we just need a few minutes to acclimate and a doc that is empathetic and explains things. She acknowledged my child was afraid when he came in, gave him a little space, and took time to show him some of the components of the visit that might be scary or overwhelming to a young autistic child that has little experience w the dentist’s office. So very grateful for Dr. Sarah’s understanding and her graceful demeanor. 10/10

Our daughter had an emergency when she broke a tooth on the playground. Staff diligently got in touch with Dr. John and he immediately got us in touch with an endodontist who took care of us within an hour of her injury. He also rearranged his schedule for the next day to see her. It was a very scary situation that could have gone much differently and the care and concern of the entire group made this a less traumatic experience for all of us! We cannot thank them enough!
