When we make the trip from Farmington for a good meal it is mostly to dine at Seasons.
FRIENLY SERVICE, GREAT FOOD Great place for dinner with excellent service. Had to overcome a city gas company leak which hampered preparation of some dishes. We enjoyed the Pork Rib Chop with carrots and Yukon potatoes and the Chicken with green beans and potatoes. The tiramsu was good choice...
Fantastic food and service. Oysters on the half shell were fresh and from the Pacific Northwest. French onion soup was rich and flavorful. Best charcuterie plate we ever had. Also, the vodka martinis were exquisite.
This was our first occasion to eat at Seasons. Waiter and staff was very attentive. Food tasted quite good but the prices were high for what we received. But Durango, CO restaurants are expensive and not great values. But still, a good place to enjoy a special event. May return for the appetizers, more reasonably priced and tasty. The onion soup was some of the best I've tasted.
This was our first experience with "Seasons of Durango." We have eaten at several other restaurants in town, and I think this one just ascended to "favorite." The ambiance was lively and a little bit crowded, but it was the quality of the food that will draw us back. All 4 of us enjoyed all of our courses and the sommelier was very helpful with wine selection. Bravo to all the people who work...
It was a new menu that night with the same ingredient being used in multiple dishes, one being winter squash which is a problem if one does not like that item. The menu was not friendly for the non red meat eater with no fish being available. I would not have chosen to eat here if I knew the menu was changing. In addition, wine that is served by the glass and listed on the menu was not...
Service was a little slow because the waiter appeared to be particularly attentive to ever table he was servicing. So given the fact we too received great service when he was attending to us it was no problem.
We're from Portland, used to great dining options. In a week in southwest Colorado and a couple of days in Albuquerque this was the best we found. Excellent ambiance, creative cooking, attentive service.
Food was excellent, but the waitress really ignored us.
