Lacked proper supervision and management of workers during the moving process. An excellent number of workers with excellent hustle. Good value for the money. Excellent concept of assigning teams to each room. Workers need to understand customers, seasoned citizens. 10 workers coming at 2 people at the destination is too hectic. The 2 gentlemen who moved me, June 21, 2020, were outrageously patient, courteous and hard working. They arrived before 10am, and all was completed by noon. With my landlady, they were cautious and conversational. And with me, one gentleman gave me a hand, as I was getting up, from the closet, where I sat, with my dog, to be out of the way, of their organized, consistent moving operation. When I phoned the number given by Home advisor, someone named Jim answered. As it turned out it was not Sebastian , it was someone else, and it turned out awful Be sure to double-check who is on the phone with you.. If someone named Jim answers, hang up as quickly as you can.
They did as great job packing me up in Florida, sent about 12 guys I believe so that surprised me because it was not a huge job. (Apparently they used a lot of sub-contractors on both ends). They wrapped and packed things well. Problems: As soon as they arrived the leader made it clear that tips were expected. I think I gave him $140 cash when they left ? there were so many people. They just did not listen. Men wrapped furniture and took forever doing this task, then did not bother to wrap items that truly needed the wrap. Loading was long and wasteful time management and unloading, was worse.
This company was fantastic- from in home estimate to final departure everyone was courteous, respectful of our property, and enthusiastic. I highly recommend, and would use again if ever we move (gosh I sure hope not!)
there customer service was tremendous but like most moving company they will charge 2hour flat fee but then at the time to pick your stuff they will start to rap all your furniture and that really take most of your 2hour time but i told them not rap the furniture but even though they got some sckuff on them i was able to get the moving truck from point A to point B (20mil.) away and deliver on time
Sebastian’s movers have been with the company a long time and do a top notch job from beginning to end. They treated our belongings as if they were moving the Queen’s finest China! Not one single item was broken, scratched or misplaced.
