RecommendedShawme is the best!!! The staff is amazing. They are very caring and attentive. We brought Luke in 3 weeks ago with several issues... allergies, ear and a staff infection on top of cancer. In 2 weeks they fixed him right up. He’s 6 and acts like a puppy again thanks to there amazing diagnoses. Highly recommended !!!!
RecommendedDr Dave and his staff are wonderful. I have toy 🧸 poodles and he is so calming for them. I have complete faith in him. He has always been available for my little guys! I cannot day enough good things about him.

For those with complicated medical situations with their furry loved ones, you won't find a more compassionate group of people that will go above and beyond to help you and your furry family member travel those difficult roads. We have had easy pets and complicated pets...baby through adult and end of life care...I wouldn't go anywhere else!

RecommendedI can’t say enough about Dr. Romeiser and staff. Our 14 year old lab had horrible cancer on her leg. He led us to the best specialists after spending over an hour with us. Now she’s a happy tripawd. I’m so happy to have found Shawme!
Recommended5 out of 5 Stars The professional staff at Shawmee deserve the highest regard. They always provide top notch customer service and a genuine caring attitude towards our “Meeko”! I wouldn’t put the health of my pet in any other animal hospital’s hands. I will continue to use their services for any and all of my pets for years to come ! They deserve to be rated as the # 1 animal hospital in southeastern New England !!
RecommendedMy husband and I have been bringing our dogs to Shawme Animal Hospital for 17 years. Fortunately we have only had 3 real emergencies in that amount of time. Dr. Romeiser and his staff have been amazing each and every time. Our most recent emergency was on Friday, December 7th. We found that our 2 yr old puppy had a large rock lodged in his small intestine. It was near to closing time on Friday and Dr. Romeiser and three of his vet techs(Tara, Cara and Brianna) willingly stayed after hours on a Friday to operate on our very s... read more
