Everything about Ela’s is excellent! We come every year when we vacation in HHI. The food, sevice, ambiance and view are fabulous.
The food was just ok, but VERY pricey. Not sure we'll return. We were celebrating a birthday and had what seemed to be a very new waiter who needed more training.

The ambiance was lovely - sat outside, nice live music, a heat lamp to compensate for the cool temps. The waiter was very friendly, but when asked about the use of bell peppers in several dishes, he insisted that that was made the dish spicy and couldn't be removed. (Bell peppers DO NOT add heat to a dish!) I was very clear that I could not eat bell peppers, so when the crabcake I ordered came, it was covered in bell peppers.
