From appetizers to desert everything was delicious. The fried oyster appetizer was cooked to perfection. The blackened Yellowfin tuna was rare just as I like it. I certain the chocolate peanut butter square went right to my hips. Wait staff were attentive but not overbearing. Every table outside has a really nice view of the marina.
We sat outside overlooking the marina, which was a lovely setting. That was definitely the highlight of our dinner. We had lobster nachos, which had potential, but were just so so. Great brunch experience!! The smoked salmon Benedict was delicious and our server, Mario was a joy and extremely friendly and welcoming!! Highly recommend ELA!!
Wedge salad, bread, hush puppies very mediocre. They could stand to seriously improve salads, bread, appetizers here. All of them. Fish entrees were good but overpriced like everything on HHI. View is nice. There was a guy named Bill playing jazz, which we enjoyed. The place is also very dirty—look at bottom of high tables. Yuck.
Love Ela's and the view.
Another excellent experience at Ela’s. Sunday brunch seated outside overlooking the marina. Bloody Mary’s followed by salmon Benedict and crab Benedict. Good coffee and attentive service.
6 of us went while we were on our vacation and we were all very satisfied with our meals and the service. The live music was lovely.
On HHI for my birthday week. Made reservations about 4 weeks in advance to be sure to be there on my birthday and then return on our last night on the island, Sat night. Which this visit . Everything on the menu is great. My wife had the grilled scallops with risotto. I chose to repeat with the crab cakes and Cajun spiced seafood gumbo. All was delicious. The desserts could use a shakeup; it’s been the same choice for several years. Would love to see some new chocolate offerings. Other than that, this is simply the BEST seaf... read more
We enjoyed 2 Grouper fish dishes. Both were EXCEPTIONAL! One was the standard fare and mine was the Special and it was. Highly recommend.
