The food is good but it is still not THAT good...the price tag is set a tad bit too high for the actual food you get.

Chose this place for my husband’s birthday based on their description of best view on Hilton Head. Although there was a view of the boat slip I would say the view at Skull Creek Boathouse was better. Food was okay but nothing spectacular. My husband had surf and turf and he didn’t care for his ribeye. I ordered the chocolate lava cake and it was dry with no creamy chocolate filling inside. My lobster risotto was good but not the best I’ve ever had. Our waiter Enaldo was great!

Want a small intimate place for dinner? If so, Ela’s is your place! It was obvious that this place is a local’s hangout and their support for this place was very obvious; good drinks and good food! Thank you for a great night!

Best meal while on Hilton Head this time. Our 2 teens requested calamari. Was not listed on there menu at restaurant. So just got seafood elsewhere. One of our teens googled calamari next day and ELA’S popped up. Awesome because our villa right next door. Everyone happy. 😎😎😎 Actually had my last 🍷 there. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

View was OK. Food was OK. Service was OK. Wine list was small but did have a couple of gems in there. Wasn't awful but nothing special either.

I made reservations for my wife’s and my 34 wedding anniversary. Making the reservations through Open Table was very easy. We had an early dinner, so parking wasn’t a problem. Upon arrival we were greeted and seated quickly. The waitress was very nice, wishing us a happy anniversary and explained the dinner special. We had two good friends with us and we ordered wine, which was very good. All of our dinners arrived hot and were very good. We split two desserts which were very good also. Overall, I would recommend this restau... read more

This has been one of my favorite restaurants to go to while in Hilton Head , the restaurant is right on The water and you can sit inside or outside with amazing views . The host was awesome and was more accommodating then our waitress, the waitress was rude and seemed like she didn’t want to even wait on us , maybe it’s because we arrived at 1:30 and they close between 2-5 to reopen for dinner . With that being said going to a restaurant of this caliber I excepted more from our waitress.

Birthday for 19 year old daughter. It was a good experience, beautiful views. Very expensive for a family of 6. We were told free cake for the Birthday Girl but were then charged 10 dollars for the cake. Even after the younger kids that don’t eat much just ordered appetizers and sides our bill was still 300 bucks. The Wine choices were wonderful and the Tuna Two ways was fantastic. Oyster Rockefeller were undercooked and slimy. Our waitress was very nice.

While visiting Hilton Head we went to Ela's on the Water. The menu was excellent, with a good variety of offerings. My wife had the Maine Lobster with Lobster risotto and it was excellent. I had the Grouper which was a little over done for me. Being Gluten Free, I was very happy to see their accommodations for GF dining. Their wine list was very nice with a good selection and our server was knowledgeable about the wine offerings. All in all a good place to visit while vacationing on HH.
