It’s a nice place. The food is good, but not enough to merit the $$$ price. Ambiance is very quiet. A bit “stuffy” - I felt very self aware about my kids making any noise.
I called the restaurant to request suggestions on how to make a birthday dinner for my boyfriend extra special. I spoke to Amber. She made some excellent recommendations. There was champagne at the table upon arrival. I ordered flowers from Flowers by Sue (one of Amber's recommendations). They were beautiful. The service was amazing, the ambiance was exactly what we expected. The food was served promptly and was delicious!
We came here last summer and it was amazing, so our expectations were very high. I made reservations over a week in advance and specially requested a table next to the window with a view. We were seated in a booth as far from the window as we could get. The service was ok, but not as great as last year. The same with the food...it was just ok. Very nice restaurant. Crowded on the night we were there so service was slow. We did enjoy our meals very much!
Parking is ridiculous- GPS takes you to their lot but it’s small and it was packed. They accommodated us being 25 minutes late for our reservation due to a parking search. Crab stack appetizer sounded great but was full of onions not mentioned on menu. Lobster bisque was very good. Salmon Rockefeller was supposed to have a crab topping - it had maybe 2 small pieces of crab on it.
