Interesting menu and good small plate options. Pan fired softshell crab was very good. Crab cakes were fair.
Fabulous dinner destination for my husband and I after a fun filled week at hilton head. Best food on the island by far with amazing views, food and service. Will definitely return.
Great food with a beautiful view of boats
Great view and location. Food and service outstanding. We will go back.
We both had the Salmon BLT. It was huge. I had the kale salad as my side and my husband had the fries. Everything was delicious. We sat outside, so we had a nice water view.
Way overrated. I can't help but feel that all the very high ratings of this place come from individuals who don't live in big cities with regular access to fine dining. The portions were huge and the fine quality ingredients just weren't there. I've had better mushroom risotto on Hilton Head at seafood restaurants.
Great place for vacation dining
We have dined at Ela's several times a year for many years when we visit Hilton Head. The view of the harbor is very nice. The food is very good. Unfortunately, the most recent visit left us wondering if we will return. We made a reservation on Open Table before we left Florida. When we arrived at Ela's on Sunday evening, we were greeted as if we were hardly welcome. The hostess was not pleasant. Our experience was very good and we enjoyed everything about our visit. We plan on making this a regular visit whenever we are in Hilton Head.
