Outdoor ambiance and noise level was great. Crab cakes outstanding
We were immediately greeted and shown to our table. We reserved a standard height but we’re given a high top. Our sever greeted us right away; welcomed us and was very good throughout our meal. The menu we received had fewer selections than the on line menu. A bit of a surprise. The food was excellent overall. There was pleasant piano music playing the entire time. It was a pleasant experience overall.
We had a beautiful outdoor table over-looking the harbour. The food was plentiful and very tasty. Very nice Hilton Head restaurant and well worth the money.

Very nice restaurant. Food, ambiance and service were excellent. My only major concern was with the menu, actually. Some of the major dinner plates are all protein and starch, no vegetables. (yet, some did include a serving of vegetables) For my seafood scampi, I had to place an additional order for vegetables to have a more balanced meal. That was kind of disappointing. This is an area of improvement for the restaurant, which would have otherwise earned 5 stars overall.

Dinner at Ela’s On The Water is always wonderful! Food is excellent, beautifully plated, served timely, never rushed. Service is outstanding, never interrupting, quietly there when needed, giving nice suggestions on meals. We always have enjoyed our meals there and look forward to our next visit!
An excellent dinner. Service was first rate. Enjoyed everything about Ela’s. Definitely will be returning.
Flounder is amazing. Key lime pie was delicious. The service was great and the views are good too.
