My husband and I had a very enjoyable “date night” dinner. The crab cake appetizer was amazing. My husband said the shrimp and grits was the best he’d ever had. The service was great and the meal was well paced.

ELA's was good, but some things could have made it great: - cocktails took a long time to arrive at the table - the martini glasses were metal and did not keep cool as long as a glass glass - the timing between the bread course and appetizer was too quick; not enough time to enjoy the delicious hushpuppies - the Caesar salad came in a wedge... this made the outer pieces overdressed and the inner pieces undressed - the portions for dinner were too big for a fine dining establishment
Excellent and diverse menu. Daily special was outstanding. David was a totally professional server. Wine list was adequate but pricing for bottles was more than reasonable. Elevator could use some attention. Our go-to dining experience for guests and family.
Delicious food and very attentive service. Arrived at 5:45pm and apps and drinks were quickly brought to the table. Dinner was brought out quickly as well. Servers kept drinks full and plates were promptly cleaned up.
My family and I went to Ela’s last night. The food was unbelievably good. We had the scallops with crab risotto, the pork chop, honey-lime shrimp, and the fried green tomatoes. For dessert, we had the homemade strawberry cake, which was excellent too. I would highly recommend Ela’s!
Not a bad experience but My expectations were a little higher for the price range.
It was my 30th wedding anniversary. My food wasn’t good. It was blackened fish with some kind of sweet chutney. Fish and chutney doesn’t mix well. It threw off the entire dish. However, the restaurant itself was nice, staff was great, and overall experience nice. I just didn’t like my food. My husband loved his pasta dish.
