Dr. Lavanya lacks the coping and people skills necessary to make patients who are frustrated, anxious, or nervous about a procedure to feel comfortable. She was quick to terminate my procedure that had been schedule for almost a month of being in pain, because she did not think we had the right therapeutic chemistry to proceed and a release form was not received or signed beforehand that we disagreed upon. I regret to say I was a past patient of Dr. Toback's for many years. Unfortunately, the implant and abutment which was placed in my mouth can not be used, and he and his office staff failed to rectify the costly procedures when confronted with the problem. It took 3 dentists after Dr. Toback's implant to explain that this implant was placed at an angle that was "economically infeasible" to use. Recently, I was planning to do a procedure with my teeth and wanted to have a second opinion with another doctor because I consider it a major one. So I called Dr. Toback's office to schedule a free consulation of second opinion (yes, I was told free before I went there). Then Dr. Toback said that I needed to have an image with the dental cone beam image for them to come up the treatment plan and proposal. They also promised me that they would send me a treatment proposal and plan and the cost estimates the next day. So I wa... read more

Dr. Toback and his staff are the best you'll find anywhere. I will never go to another dentist.
