From the moment I was evaluated to the PT and follow up after my shoulder replacement surgery I was treated like I was his only patient. He is thoroughly knowledgeable about this procedure and I don’t have any reticence in stating that he IS the best there is.
Dr. Wilson is the man. The staff was awesome. Definitely would recommend him and his staff. Professional and caring all in one place.
Extremely well-run, organized and caring staff and facilities (Outpatient as well as North Carolina Specialty Hospital). Dr. Wilson is one of those rare surgeons that has excellent 'bedside manner' and he definitely does not walk into the exam room ready to just talk at the patient. Dr. Wilson asks questions for understanding, listens well, and responds directly to questions. He provides options for treatment and engage me as part of the decision-making process. He took time to explain the pros and cons of the treatment options.
I was nervous. I was in pain. Dr. Wilson put me at ease. I knew after looking at his resume that I was in great hands. Great staff associates.
Dr. Wilson is an excellent surgeon. He takes time to explain procedures in terms that are easily understandable and drawing diagrams. He did a reverse shoulder replacement on me and I am extremely satisfied with the results. Having had eight orthopedic surgeries over the past 3 years I must say Dr Wilson and his staff are the very best. He performed a reverse total shoulder on me and I couldn't be happier. Office wait times are only a few minutes. They are extremely polite and thorough. This is how medical care should be. Many other surgeons and offices could learn a lot from Dr Wilson and his staff!
Dr. Wilson performed a rotator cuff & slap repair on me in March 2018. With age & active grandblessings both shoulders need Dr. Wilson's magic touch. My left shoulder will be next w/a complete reverse replacement. Dr Wilson performed rotator cuff surgery on me. I had a large tear. He fixed it and I did great afterward with his direction for my PT. He communicated great with me and explained exactly what he did. Would definitely go to him again.
