We arrived at 6:30 it is now 9:11pm and we still can not leave because our tickets aren’t ready, won’t be returning!

I went there with my family and dropped over $100.00 after we had to be waited 25 to 30 to be seated. It took 10-15 for the waitress just to get drinks. Drinks came fast then we waited 15 minutes to get our order taken. It took another 30 to 45 min to get our food and it was cooked to long and burnt. The hushpuppies couldn't even be squeezed. The loaded potato salad was warm and the cole slaw was warm and no shrimp.

Customer service was lousy. We walked in, and the majority of the tables were dirty even though there were only two tables being used. Had to wait to be seated. Had to wait for someone to come and get drink order. I asked about their sign they had for Happy Hour. They said it was for beers. They named all the beers, I ordered one, but when I got my ticket I was charged full price. I brought it to their attention, and all they would say was, "that's only on our domestic". we have been eating at Shrimp Basket since it opened, it has steadily gone downhill. one day you get an awesome dinner but the next not so great. yesterday we ordered shrimp and grits, in my order there was a total of four shrimp and the grits tasted like they were poured out of a pouch water added and served, the steamed broccoli tasted a day or so old and also looked that way. I really wish they would take more pride in what they serve this is not the first time I have gotten a bad meal from Shrimp Basket in Warrenton.

The last two take out orders we had was terrible. 1st time they left things out of our order. Second time we ordered we ordered for 7:00 pick was not ready until 7:30. They kept asking what did you order. Finally got the order they had left something out. We ordered 1 bowl of gumbo, 1 bowl of etouffe got two bowls of etouffe. Called no one answered the phone when we called to complain, left message for call back haven’t gotten a call yet.
My wife and I had lunch there today. The black cook, put way too much salt on both our seafood entrees. I hesitate to say this was a racist act, but why put all that salt on the food? I complained to server, but she basically ignored my complaint. She stated Cajun seasoning has a lot of salt. Simply not true!. It has a lot of spicy seasoning, but this was so much salt you could scrape it off!. Never going back there.

Customer service was terrible. Food was okay. I won’t be back. It literally took me years just to come visit this restaurant. It’s been a long time since I’ve had bad service. The other server was so courteous of the ones she was serving. Our server didn’t not one time ask if we needed anything. I’m not a loud person and I give anyone the benefit of the doubt. But this server walked back and forth passing us by each time not even looking our way. My husband tried many times to get Allison’s attention many times. No response.... read more

Have been to several Other locations and went here for all you can eat shrimp, the shrimp was so overcooked that it took great effort to remove the shells And the shrimp had a rubber consistency. Also the shrimp what’s Obviously frozen prior to cooking. No thanks.
Portions were small for the price & I wasn't impressed with the taste of the catfish or caesar salad. However the staff was nice & prompt & the grilled shrimp was good.
