It all began in 1993, when two local boys in Gulf Shores, Alabama decided to open up a casual family-focused seafood restaurant on the Gulf Coast. The idea was to create a restaurant where people would feel welcome to be themselves, families could afford to dine out together and strangers would leave as friends. RecommendedWe ate at several places in Navarre while on vacation and The Shrimp Basket was our favorite! Don’t judge a book by its cover. Some of the best places to eat are just a hole in wall places and this one definitely falls into that category!
My daughter and I were on vacation from Kentucky and met up here with local friends. The food was amazing! I got the shrimp tacos and chips and queso. Delicious! Service was great! I can't remember the sweet servers name but I do know she's pregnant. She was amazing! I totally recommend this place. We dined outside on the covered patio. Loved this experience!

It has always been good, but the last 3 times it was outstanding for us.
Employees are friendly and attentive and food is delicious. Recommend to locals and vacationers. Casual dining with a great menu and selection of cocktails.
Amazing staff! Everyone is friendly and helpful. I had dogs and she immediately brought them water and asked if I wanted to order for them! Thank you so much for putting my puppers first 💕💕💕

Great service! The restaurant was very crowded but the servers and the hostess, Emily were great! The hostess definitely went above and beyond!
