RecommendedMy wife and kids got the shrimp and popcorn shrimp platters . Hands down some of the best shrimp you can get in the area. I got the shrimp and catfish platter again the catfish was just as good as Charles seafood in Lexington KY . Also got some fried pickles which were just as good . The price was very competitive and reasonable. . The service was good . Place was clean . The only complaint is the cole slaw and broccoli were prepared plain/bland .

Take my advice. Go to McDonald’s and get yourself a fish sandwich. It will be far superior to anything you get at the Scrimp Basket.
I have never posted an online review of any type before but this was probably the most disgusting sandwich I’ve ever *tried* to eat in my life. After noticing I had a total of only 6 little shrimp on my entire po-boy, it was also cold, flavorless, and soggy. The sandwich consisted of a piece of old lettuce, ONE tiny pickle, ONE tiny tomato sliver, and a couple of dried up shrimp. That’s it. My first bite was just lettuce and bread. Awful!! Ordered DoorDash. I would not feed to my dog!
The food was Luke warm multiple things was missing from our order but that wasn't the worst part of our experience! Our server was nothing short of a great person but he had no help he was working half the restaurant by himself with no help we asked the hostess for some silverware and she said ok and went right back to the stand and didn't help.
