It all began in 1993, when two local boys in Gulf Shores, Alabama decided to open up a casual family-focused seafood restaurant on the Gulf Coast. Shrimp Basket, Homewood, 9/22/2021, 4pm. We went there for dinner. We both ordered seafood baskets. When our food arrived at table, the server told us they were out of oysters. Instead of giving us a chance to order something else or go somewhere else, he said they stuck a couple of extra shrimp in and some catfish strips to make up for no oysters. Poor service!! We Went there and sat for like more than 30minutes. And nobody even get our order! Not even busy at all.
Had to wait for them to recook our food, burnt, still came out burnt, fries were not edible

RecommendedGift card reader has been broken during the last 2 visits. What is up? How does the credit card reader and online balance check work and not the point of sale machine?
We were the first people to be seated when they opened at 11am on Sunday. Placed our drink orders and food order. Waitress came back two different times to tell us they could not cook something we had ordered (Cajun grilled chicken and chicken poboy). We recently had a late lunch in this establishment & I don’t remember when I have ever had such poor quality of food or service. We were truly disappointed. To make it worse we were served Raw Cold fish !!
Slow slow customer service was awful. Food was terrible.
Food always consistently good, but hate the new policy at Homewood location of no subs! Not everyone likes that shrimp slaw, but now you either get it ‘cause it comes with Everything, or pay the same but get nothing. Stinks!
