It all began in 1993, when two local boys in Gulf Shores, Alabama decided to open up a casual family-focused seafood restaurant on the Gulf Coast. The idea was to create a restaurant where people would feel welcome to be themselves, families could afford to dine out together and strangers would leave as friends. Our food was awful and service was terrible The waiters were overworked
Food was so cold when it arrived. Quite possibly the most overpriced, cold seafood I’ve ever had. 10 out 10 do not recommend.
Avoid if you can. We ordered a takeout order because all the restaurants in the area were busy due to it being Friday night in a beach town. The food was not good. I ordered popcorn shrimp and it was super tiny with no flavor. Someone else ordered the red fish and the sauce was not fresh at all, another person ordered the chicken pasta and it had no flavor or sauce. 70.00 for 3 popcorn shrimp baskets 12 hush puppies and1/2 pound steamed shrimp each basket probably had 1/2 cup of shrimp well thanks for nothing
LONG wait for food (lunch time & not busy) and food was mediocre. All that didn’t bother me, it was the rudeness of the waitress that did it for me. She acted like we were an inconvenience. Slammed our drinks down, never came back for refills. Our lunch was $107.00. I expect a refill on waters for that. We will never go back.
Crystal got 3 of our drink orders wrong. Sour personality. Then when my brothers food did not come out with the rest of the food she went to check on it. Never returned to check on us. We everyone was done eating I called the manager over asking what happened and she said they forgot it. When I asked why didn’t crystal come check on us she started arguing with me. We will never go back. Food did not come close to my local seafood restaurant in Augusta Georgia. If your ever in Augusta your need to go to Rheinharts. Best ever!... read more
