RecommendedQuick and technician was kind and very friendly. Complemented and wished me luck on recovery from my 3td back surgery.
#1 The MRI tech, that is supposedly also a trained and licensed phlebotomist, gave up on contrast injection after two painful unsuccessful sticks on me; #2 SimonMed will attempt to bill you for the difference between charges it initially sent to your insurance company and those charges that your insurance company paid months earlier. It’s called payment fishing and is illegal. (They essentially want to double bill you!)
I don’t like to leave bad reviews for companies. I try to be very open minded, but my visit to this location was extremely negative. The employee working the front desk was very unpleasant. Would not make eye contact with me, asked me for my drivers license and my insurance card and she got annoyed when I first pulled my drivers license out of my wallet and handed it to her. I don’t like that they don’t make appointments to get an X-ray. You have to go down there and wait, not knowing how long it is going to be. They should at least offer an online system like some of the Banner clinics that let you make an appointment time and then text you when to head down to the clinic. It helps when you have to schedule time off of work to go down there and not know how long it may take. I had an MRI in 10/18, a bone density and chest X-ray in 11/18. I paid $200 towards these services. After my insurance was filed and they paid for these services in full Simonmed will not refund my $200. I have called over 6 times and all I get is the run around. They acknowledge they owe me the money - they just refuse to mail me the check. Is has been over 90 days and I still have no refund. I have filed a complaint with BBB and will be filing a complaint with the Attorney General and Consumer Protection Agency.
