I recently had my first mammogram at SimonMed Imaging, and I’m honestly so grateful for how smooth and positive the experience was. Like many, I was a little nervous going in—not knowing what to expect. But from the moment I walked in, the staff made me feel welcomed, comfortable, and informed every step of the way. Unbelievably fast. Two scans and I was out in 30 min. The BEST thing though were the Techs. Sandra did the Mammogram and she is AMAZING at what she does. Monica did the Dexxa and was super skilled. Both made me feel at ease and supported.
What is very important to most people as time and it did not take long to take care of me at all. The staff was very kind. The x-ray technician was absolutely fantastic. Everyone was professional and just atmosphere of good people.
The phone scheduling (not this specific office)with the corporate phone number and confusion on rescheduling was horrible. They kept texting and emailing canceling a CT that should not have been cancelled. The Staff at this office was amazing though! Genesis the front desk Staff fixed and confirmed everything for me and was so nice. The other front desk Staff who checked me in was so pleasant. Not a good experience. I arrived at 2:05 pm to find the waiting room packed with no seats available. My appointment was at 2:15 for a MRI. I was not seen until shortly after 4 and by the time they were done with me it was 4:45. I was told this was normal. Why schedule so many appointments if you can’t stay on schedule or even come close? Thankfully I did not have anywhere else to be or I would’ve had to make a choice to either skip my MRI or cancel whatever I had next. You need to do better.
