Very late with appt time. X-ray tech has a full blown conversation extending the visit longer. MRI guy fantastic!!
Over an hour wait to get test. Visitor masks required, but receptionists and staff NOT wearing masks. My dye injection and tight binding above elbow resulted in swelling that almost doubled size of left arm from below elbow to wrist. Had to see Dr. the following day to be sure I was not in blood clot danger.
The Wilmot road clinic is tired and dated. It would be good if the facility had a fresh coat of paint, perhaps comfortable seating, and improved signage, among other improvements. The old “comic” posters taped to the ceiling of the imaging room should be tossed out. What purpose do they possible serve for the patient? I was also disappointed to see open boxes of candy chocolates on the technicians counter in the Imaging room — made me wonder if the staff was fully engaged with my procedure. It was very difficult to find the office. I got a lot of texts and emails but didn’t have any contact information to actually call them. When I did call. No one answered the phone! I arrived a few minute early for my appointment and had to wait 45 minutes! Unacceptable. The office people are rude and the office itself is old and dingy.
Understaffed with imaging professionals. Appointment cancelled/moved twice due to this issue. Otherwise, once imaging done. everything was fine and went smoothly.
Do not go here if you need a simple X-ray! Appointment was at 12:30 and was told it would be after 1:00 because the X-ray tech was at another location. What’s the point of having an appointment? It took over an hour to finally get an X-ray completed from appointment time. They had piss poor scheduling. I never had this experience at Radiology LTD. I will make sure my doctor never sends me back to SimonMed again!
Send sick people home and reschedule them!
