I was unhappy with my doctor so I met with Dr. Vasaiwala who immediately prescribed a different course of action for my Afib. I had problems tolerating the medicines as it was making me sleepy, so we did the ablation process. It turned out great. 6 months now without any issues. Dr. Vasaiwala was extremely informative and I felt like he genuinely cared about me. Would highly recommend him.
One of the most down to earth patient physicians that I have met. He is clearly busy but never seems rushed.

I was receiving several shocks from my defibrillator. this doctor saved me from getting a heart transplant by doing a complex ablation procedure. He is very well liked and respected by the staff there at Loyola and I wasn't surprised. Would highly recommend him and his team.
During a ablation procedure a artery was nicked . One week after the Procedure I ended up in the emergency room with severe leg pain and bruising. I spent several weeks in pain and three additional ER visits and. 5 day stay at the hospital. There was never any follow up from Dr Vasaiwala. He just doesn’t care. Then canceled my one month follow up appointment one day before.
Arrogant. Inexperienced. Unprofessional.
