Works perfectly, cost acceptable, only downside is heavy and the cord is annoying. Might suggest a retractable cord.

I have a lot of trees near my pool . I've been the pool cleaner for years. I now get more float time and less cleaning time in my pool

I have found a couple of issues with the unit. First, there is no cord pivot (as advertised). No matter what you do, the cord loops and causes the unit to go in half circles. It also causes the front of the unit to go straight up (when going forward) then it shuts itself off and starts again. The end result of this is that the unit will get stuck doing one section of the pool until you re-direct it. I wired tied a 4oz. pyramid sinker (surf fishing) to the front grab handle. If the cleaner is not staying firmly on the bottom, there could be air in the cleaner. Remove cleaner from pool and re-submerge. Another possibility is the filter canister is full or dirty; clean the filter canister to see if that helps.
