RecommendedWe had a solar system and solar water heater installed in our home by Solar Fit. This is the second home that we have had them do for us. We were amazed by their expedient and efficient installation. They were like a bunch of worker bees. The system works great. We highly recommend Solar Fit.

We had one small leak in one of the pipes about 5 years ago they came right out fixed it and it's been fine ever since. I think that system is about the only thing at our house that has lasted that long. We had a wonderful, personable sales person named Gloria that knew her business. Owner is like a used car salesmen and will say anything to get your business. He will not support his sales people with the resources they need to do their job. He expects his sales people to do it like he did 45 years ago versus using the digital tools available today to find solar interested home owners. If you are not “like minded” to the owner you are fired by his daughter.
I have to wonder why over 90 days after solar-fit "completed" installation and was paid my tesla PV system is still non-functional. Bill won't return my calls, and the service team has no clue or plan on fixing this installation. 10k over budget and still not working. Update Nearly 12 out of 18 months my solar fit installed Tesla system hasn’t worked tech shows up again same problem when they leave and 7-10 days to wait again terrible service terrible communication
I love my solar system that I never can say I have no bill from Duke Energy. My only two complaints are that one they did not have a sale rep explain the tax credits in a manner that it should have been. I thought I was going to get that money back in a tax refund so I could apply it to my solar system to pay it off but that was not to be the case. This is how it really works. Very disappointed in Solar-Fit. Saw them today at the fair. They refused to schedule an appointment to come to our home because only my wife would be home. It isn't the 1950's. She can make decisions. I look forward to spending $30,000 with someone else to convert our entire home to solar.
