This was our third visit to Son’s Ranch, camping in a tent. We’ve had such a great time each visit. Being on the river is amazing! This time, however, we almost didn’t get a camping spot. The reservation includes a picnic table, bbq pit and chairs, and we had none. I wish they would reserve tent spots the way they do the other reservable areas. Stiil had a good time, though.

Our stay was excellent. We only booked for one night and even did an early check in but traffic held us back and we actually arrived on the normal time. No biggie. But we enjoyed our stay. The accommodations were comfortable and it was good to have some quiet get away time from all the city noise. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t being cooperative but we knew that might happen. We had a very pleasant experience at this campground- the safari cabins were well constructed and nicely done.-the campgrounds are clean and nicely done..the bathrooms could use a more friendlier entrance than the trailer steps for those that are disabled or have trouble going up or down steps

We encourage staff to check all areas of the glamping cabins, before check in, because we found a dehydrated bologna sandwich in the zippered window of the backwall. Thank you

The whole set up was beautiful! The staff was completely amazing! The only thing was the bathroom situation but even then they were super clean and the showers were great! We loved it so much we’re going back next weekend!!
