I have a 19 year old Chihuahua.. I have had to take her to see Dr. Boppanna several times for injuries and a stroke. They took very good care of Lucy and followed up several times just to check on her. Her latest injury was 5/12/19 she fell off my bed and hurt her back. She has fully recovered and running around like a young dog. They are wonderful. I take all 3 of my dogs there. I won't take them anywhere else.
Dr. Boppana saved our puppy Jolie’s life. He performed emergency surgery 6 months ago and we will forever be grateful. He is very knowledgeable and has an excellent bedside manner. His staff is always polite and I love the feel his small town office brings. I will also add that prices were reasonably in our budget. You won’t find quality care for your pet at these prices. I highly recommend.
We love this place. They take such good care of Spencer, remind us of appointments in a timely manner and are super helpful.

I cannot thank Dr. Boppanna and his staff enough! He helped my little 2 1/2 year old, 8 pound girly-girl doggie back to health. Big scare. Temp 3 degrees below normal, lethargic, wouldn’t eat, pee or poop for well over 20 hours. Emma Mae, my girly-girl pooch had never seen Dr. Boppana before, he and his staff saw her right away, with such compassion. Thank you South Belt Animal Hospital, Emma now has a new Vet for life.
I rescued a kitten off the streets and immediately brought her to South Belt. I had never been to this vet, but they have made me a life long customer! They were easy to work with and were quick to treat her. I would highly recommend this vet! Thank you South Belt Animal Hospital!
