RecommendedI took my fur baby (Mya) to a new vet today, and I honestly couldn't be happier with the experience. My sweet old girl was told she looks better than most labs her age! Her skin, coat, bones, and dental health are all above average, her heart sounds perfect, and she's only 1 pound overweight, which I wish I could say the same about myself! 🤣 Unfortunately, her ears were infected with yeast yet AGAIN! RecommendedWe have found our new Vet. I HIGHLY recommend South Lake Vet. They went ABOVE and BEYOND with Atlas today. Atlas is a VERY reactive German Shepherd if the Vet/Tech try and do anything to him. He is not reactive other than them trying to do anything exam wise so we can be lucky on that aspect. He is reactive especially anything to do with his ears so they have to muzzle him and fully sedate him which I am fine with because I don’t want them or him to get hurt. He did have an ear infection in his left ear but we got bloodwork ... read more

RecommendedHighly recommend South Lake Vet. We had an emergency today with our dog Winston and they got us right in and took excellent care of him. Professional, knowledgeable and compassionate care. RecommendedWe could not be happier having Dr. Ashlynn Turner and her top notch crew at South Lake Vet care for our sweet Sadie Grace. We visited for a tour before they opened and left knowing we would get the best care. On our first official visit, Sadie Grace was treated like one of the family by everyone in the office and Dr. Turner made sure she was happy and comfortable during her check up. On their very first day of being open they were fully booked and still had the heart and compassion for me and my furbaby of 13 years to squeeze us in. RecommendedHands down the best veterinary clinic in Lexington! From the front office, to the amazing techs, to Dr. Turner, a US Veteran, herself! You can’t ask for better care!! My dog is a bit fearful in vet offices, but they took their time with him and calmly allowed him to feel safe and not attacked. My family will be bringing all of our pets here! Bonus points for being open every other Saturday which is so helpful and convenient!
