Our Mission To provide training in a realistic and challenging environment, where individuals can establish the foundation necessary to succeed as lineworkers in the electrical utility and communications industries. My son graduated from the Class of 58. I flew from Kansas to attend the Rodeo and Graduation which were both awesome! Wonderful facility. Great program. I liked being able to "follow" along on this page to see what the students were learning. My son graduated with a job waiting for him in Oklahoma. He has even taught me a thing or two. I would recommend this Training Center to anyone wanting to be a Lineman. I never heard of the term Wood Walker until SLTC. Like that term better then Pole Dancer.
The knowledge and the skills of the graduates of Southeast Lineman Training Center was very impressive. It was interesting to see all they had learned when they presented a program(Rodeo) for their family and friends on graduation morning. Graduation was at 5 pm that evening and it was equally impressive and very professional.
My son absolutely loved his school and had an amazing experience there! He’s coming out of this with a top notch education, a whole new set of friends for life, a job before he left school and has bright future ahead of him! Highly recommend SLTC!!

So far I have two sons that have graduated from here. Excellent program. I encourage anyone interested in becoming a lineman to attend this school.
My son was in Class 57 PC 11. Best training,education and instructor. He has a job now he absolutely loves, plus he makes good money and he is 19 yrs old. When you are looking for a school send you’re son or daughter to SLTC most experienced in my opinion!
My Nick was in Class 55 and now he is working for Duke Energy. Monday he is officially a class C1 electric line man. SLTC was a perfect fit for him. During the SLTC Rodeo he had the pole top rescue -- and this week at Duke training he had one of the top scores for that activity in his class. He won a prize because he did so well!
