Dr Weaver is one of the nicest kindest doctors that I have met in a long time. He called me the night before my procedure and put my fears to rest and when I met with him the next morning he explained the procedure and took his time. If I need another procedure I will certainly be going to Dr Weaver.
Regrettably, I did not have a positive experience with this provider. He appeared to lack genuine concern for my issues and expedited the appointment without adequately addressing my needs.
My 80 year old Mothers experience with Dr. Weaver was horrible. He doesn't listen to his patients, provides no explanations or education, and loves to talk about what he cooks for dinner. He feigns compassion and doesn't answer questions. He put her on pain killers and when she messed up her dose, he treated her like a drug addict and dropped her, throwing her into major withdrawal. Beyond horrific and abusive.
Referral from EVMS Internal Medicine, (CC Sent). Initial meeting was very brief, very little history interest, albeit extensive, and the obligatory handshake was complete. After a urine screen and background check, I was prescribed the same minimal dose of tramadol I had taken for over ten years, and assigned to the PA or NP (gatekeeper). Provided with a three month Rx and out the door. All went well for several months until I had to travel to Costa Rica and then Mexico. I cancelled my appointments until I returned and since... read more
Rudest, worse doctor I have ever experienced. He has the worst bedside manners imaginable and is completely incompetent. The only place I recommend seeing him is visiting him in jail. Absolutely horrible and should lose his license.
Cannot recommend Dr. Brian Weaver as a pain management physician. I had never been to a pain management specialist or ever been treated so disrespectfully & insulted by a physician as I was almost 5 weeks post op from an extensive back surgery. I was lectured & treated as though I was an opioid abusers. Very disappointed. Highly recommend seeking your pain needs elsewhere.
I almost cannot find strong enough words to describe how incompetent and how much of a jerk Dr. Brian Weaver is. Avoid him like the plague!
