Highway Robbery Southern came to diagnose my heat pump problem and found a bad compressor. Yes, they fixed it, but they charged me well over $200 /hour for labor (going rate shouldn't be more than about $75). Plus they took at 30% profitability charge for the parts. Who does that? I will never use Southern again. Unless money doesn't matter to you, stay away from them!
Price too high The people over at Southern Plumbing & Electrical charge way to high of a price. They had to put a couple of stems in my shower, and on top of their hourly rate they also charged me an additional fee for having to put the stems in my shower which they were going to have to do anyway! They did a good job in terms of quality of work, but their prices are too ridiculously high. I would not...
Was charged $650 for a toilet flange repair - on a Monday morning. Also charged a $70 service call. Entire job took 2 hours, no extra concrete repair. Complete ripoff.
