Boarded our Maggie at Southpaw for a week to attend a family vacation. Well staffed, clean facilities, lots of playtime, great staff… couldn’t have asked for a better spot to leave her!! Will definitely use again!

Our rescue dog is extremely timid. Everyone at Southpaw shows her love and understanding, never pushing her beyond her ability to interact. We can relax and enjoy ourselves while she’s with you and feel that she is safe. Thank you!
Our standard poodles, Henry and Higgins, love coming to SouthPaw! They greet everyone and bound through the doors, excited to play in the yard with their friends. Henry has special needs to include medications, recent soft tissue infections with bandages to change, using a cone and anxiety issues all of which the folks at SouthPaw take in stride and accommodate. We could not be more grateful for the great care our boys receive when we are away.
Our four dogs boarded at Southpaw for a week and the care given to them was amazing. Our one dog has anxiety over thunderstorms and the team anticipated his needs and gave him his meds to keep him calm before the storms hit. They are the only kennel in the state of South Carolina I trust my fur babies with. The team members are professional and go out of their way to make not only the dogs in their care comfortable but excel in reassuring the pet owners concerns. I never leave my 16 1/2 year old dogs with anyone. But I trust the help at Southpaw and found them all wonderful with the animals and respectful of my wishes. I wouldn’t hesitate to leave them there again. This is the third time we’ve used them over the years and now that they’re older I drove all the way in from Atlanta because this is the only place I am comfortable leaving them. I just wish they had someone on the premises overnight in case of an emergency!
