Southwest Christian Hospice opened the first full-service hospice in-patient facility in Georgia in January 1987. We also offer home-care services for terminally-ill patients. Our Hope House Children's Respite Center opened in June 2002. We provide respite care to families with special needs children suffering from severe disabilities. RecommendedThis is a very nice quiet and peaceful facility. All personnel are kind and courteous. Patients are well cared and kept comfortable.
In October of 2008 Southwest Christian came into our lives as we trusted my Mother's care to you for her last days of battling cancer--oh my not only did you t care for her you cared for all of the family. In the Spring of this year (2017) you entered our lives once again as you began home care for my Dad, also suffering from cancer and then in August he was moved to the beautiful facility in Union City. Love that God lead us here in our time of need,our Dad received such gentle and merciful care.I believe they are a perfect example of God's Grace here on this earth.
About 10 years ago, my grandfather spent his last weeks here, they kept him very comfortable and took care of the entire family. Just this passed weekend I spent my time once again at the hospice. But again, surrounded by wonderful people who want to help.
The staff that our family encountered at Southwest Christian Care were all so wonderfully kind and caring! They cared for our loved one and comforted us too! Our family is extremely thankful for Southwest!
This is where my husband lived the last three months of his life. I stayed with him those three months and experienced first hand what this place is all about. From the moment we walked in, we felt God's presence and overwhelming peace. ALL the nurses and techs are super loving and dedicated. They treat each patient as if they are the only one there.
